Tuesdays Treasures

My treasure this week is very special
and I don't even know why !
It seems I have had this basket forever as I can
remember playing with it when I was very little .
It shows doesn't it ,  see all the repairs that have
been done to it over the years .
I have no idea where it originally came from but
I am assuming one of my grandparents .

My treasure is a bit like me cracked but still cheerful !

PS Thanks so much for all your kind support !
A special hello to Chris (no blog ) from New Zealand
I hope you are feeling ok today and thankyou for your thoughts .

Come on show us your treasures cracks and all !

Hey, I'm first and I usually forget! Clare glad you're cracked and cheerful and not cracked and cranky :).Love your basket, memories don't have to be pretty because they are useful. They remind us of important things in our life, even if it was just playing and having fun.

I can see why you love your little basket. It is really sweet and I know it would have appealed to me as a little girl.

Thanks for sharing

Treasures with history don't have to be pristine and perfect Clare, it's the memories attached that gives us the greatest joy.

I love the basket...it doesn't matter if it's cracked, all that matters is that it's special to you!

Hi Clare, Tuesday Treasures is one of my very favourite things in Blogworld. I love seeing what you and others have chosen to share. Hope you like my lovely teddy - I adore him. He usually lives on my dressing table where I can see him as I fall asleep

What a pretty treasure, Clare! Thank you for sharing! It's still Monday night here, if the sun is shining in the morning I might remember to take a pic!

What a lovely treasure and so nice that it is such a part of your memory. I was sorry to hear about your nasty visitor. I hope they stay away and let the people who love you enjoy you! Lisa x

When you love someone, you love them warts and all - so why should it be different with our treasures? Yours is lovely!

Hello Clare,

Isn't it funny how we hang onto special items. I was at our eldest daughters recently and I noticed in a pot plant a little pink/white Holly Hobby type ceramic doll that she had when she was little. She is not someone to hang onto things so was especially pleased to spy it there. Hope you have a great day.
