it's beginning to look a lot like.....

....a mad womans breakfast around here .

I'm preparing magazine Christmas projects
and they asked for some projects in red and white .

I'm not really a red and white girl but I think
I could be swayed .

Does your Christmas at home have a theme ?

Are you all colour coordinated ?

Although my kids are teenagers I still put their
kindergarten crafts up and the rest of the
decorating is a little hotch potch .

I'd really be interested to hear about your
 Christmas decorating , it's not
too early to start thinking about it
and if you are anything like me
the sooner the better !

PS I will be doing lots of Christmas tutorials
here in the next few months leading up to
the big day if only to get my own act together.

Are ewe the winner ?

It was so hard to decide on a winner for their comment on the "silly sheep " post that I thought it was easier to pick a random number and number 16 was the one chosen . Anita if you would please email me with your address I will send you some very country fat 1/4s. (sorry only one has sheep in it ) Thanks everyone who popped in for a bit of fun . I'm really going from one extreme to the other in this post from dirty lost sheep to bright pink dolls . My doll Penny made the cover of Simply Patchwork and Stitching v 10 no 5 . If only she got paid as much as a real , live cover girl ......

On a brighter note .

I received my copy of Handmade v27 no5 yesterday with my project for the machine apron in it . I just love these colours they are just so pretty ! I call these colours bright pastels which is a bit like saying soft black or square circles , whatever they're called I think they're me !

On the other matter , I would like to thank all who left such supportive comments or the many who emailed me . Yes I was a little sad but life is too short to let such things take up too much of my time . I will continue doing exactly what I love to do , creating and having fun . Thankyou all.

Moving right along ....

Does a glimpse count as a finish ?

After my little disaster this week I have had some serious catching up to do . My studio looks like a whirlwind has been through it merrily tossing stuff everywhere . All I can show you of my replacement project for missing Daisy is this small glimpse as I don't really want to push my luck any further with the magazine she is going in to . So my question is "Does a glimpse count as a finish ?" I don't like my chances of being able to show too much in July or at least at till the school holidays finish .......
