Tuesday Treasures

My treasure this week are these gorgeous plates .
My husband found these at a garage sale many years ago .
There are also a couple of dinner plates although
nowhere near a complete set .
My dear husband knows me so well that I
wouldn't care if it wasn't a complete set .
I can't wear matching socks so why would I worry
about matching plates .
My whole house is a hotch potch why should mealtime be any different !

Come and show your treasures , all welcome !

Those are lovely plates Clare - there is something about eating off a pretty plate that just seems to make food taste good!

Gorgeous plates. I like that mix and match thing, grew up with it and now when we are all at mum's even if she gets the set out there is not enough!

Thanks for hosting

Those are lovely!!! I'm not a fan of matchy-matchy myself, I think it's way more interesting to have lots of pretty pieces! So don't ever worry about being eclectic!

What a great find, Clare! Those are beautiful plates. Your hubby has great taste...or just knows yours very well! I love mis-matched dishes. I use them all the time. And my house is in the cottage-style, too, so anything goes as far as I'm concerned! :o)

XOXO,

Cyndi

I love your collection of plates. My daughter has odd plates she has collected over the years and always uses them at her dinner parties a bit of a talking point I think.
Thanks for hosting Clare's Treasure Tuesday it is such great fun.
