The administration of Clare's Craftroom would like to advice the public of a situation that has arisen due to the massive cleanup in the Craftroom . Multiples of sewing tools have surfaced and have been placed in the Lost Property Department .Please check these items carefully as some of these could be yours .

Well surely they can't all be mine !

I'm going to clean up my act !

I paid $18.00 to learn just how disorganised I am . This new magazine is full of inspirational studios that really put mine to shame . There are some really beautiful rooms to be seen and great ideas are shared by a variety of different crafters .

I'd pay more money to see "real" studios where the crafter is going a bit crazy with hair sticking out and muttering as they rummage through piles of bits looking for something .

One studio has an armchair so the crafter can snuggle up and read !! IF I had an armchair it would be covered in stuff and if it wasn't the cat probably wouldn't let me sit on it anyway!

So I am now full of a new determination to get my studio into shape .

I've started by sorting my ribbon drawer but there I have an ulterior motive as I know the scrapbooking shop that I'll be in on Saturday is having a new ribbon stand put in , so I'm really just making room for the new ribbon I know I'll have to buy !

If you are feeling like a cleanup let Robyn or I know so we can all encourage (commiserate with)each other .

That was my week !

I've had sick kids for most of the week so haven't gotten a lot of crafting done . It was a good chance to catch up with paperwork and a little designing . I did manage a bit of crocheting for my daughters blanket , she's 11 now so it should be a lovely 21st present !

Yes it's got brown bits on it !

I'd been fiddling around making fabric boxes to display my patterns in . I finished this one and showed it to my family , this is the reaction I got - "It's got brown on it Mum " and "Didn't you have your glasses on Mum , you used brown " My family knows well my dislike of brown , I wouldn't wear a brown piece of clothing if it was the last item on earth so it was a bit of a surprise to see me sewing something with the dreaded brown in it .

They could of at least said "Great work Mum even though you used brown "

Button, button, who's got the button?

How is it I can spend , what seems like hours , searching through my hundreds of buttons and still can't find just the right one ?

Maybe because I'm really only playing with them instead of seriously searching !

As I'm working on my new designs I tweak and twiddle but I don't twitter .

I use emails a lot and blog but I don't twitter .

My birds here don't twitter either so I'm not alone .

Oh twit! These cute twitters need some more tweaking !

Hurry up and slow down !

It's been one of those weeks where I have been running constantly and getting nowhere .

Life has been very hectic helping with the Mother's Day stall , the kids starting winter sports so training has begun , trying to finish projects , stuff for tech , packing patterns at all hours of the night , trying to keep my home running sort of smoothly, oh yes and I work too !

At least Sunday is Mother's Day and I will sleep in and be waited on all day , won't I ?

It's lovely to have a whinge , no one listens to me here , sniff ....

The nice thing that has happened this week is that my friend Clare from Clare's Crafts gave me these two cute awards . I love them Clare , thankyou very much . (Yes I know you all think I'm loopy and talking to myself but I'm not , I don't think )
