let's socialise

I'm not here as much as I'd like to be.
I work a lot of hours outside home and although
I still squeeze in craft every chance I get
I sometimes feel they aren't worthy of a full blog post.

I blab all about them all over the internet still.

Where you may ask?

Well....

I'm on Instagram
also on facebook
and twitter
or maybe chatting away about books on GoodReads.
I also have a profiles on linkedin and I pin madly at pinterest.
Of course I still have my lovely shop too.

Phew! That's a lot of socialising isn't it!

Speaking of socialising I have a lovely visitor
for morning tea soon, just wait till you see what she makes!

Also coming up is new tutorial with a small giveaway
from a great Australian business.

So yes as you can see if I'm not here I'm there.
Or there or there or there.

Where are you?
Let me know so I can find you too.

Here's another photo of Lucy
I mean really who doesn't love Lucy!

reading and sewing and sewing and reading

For me 2014 was a pretty crap year.
There, I've said it.

I didn't get much reading done and I certainly
didn't get much sewing done
and these are two of my favourite things to do.

I have declared 2015 my  year and
I hope it's your year too.

I'm joining in the

When you see some of the prompts you'll see why.
They are all easy and achievable, even for me!

2015 sewing bucket list ~ whip stitch

26 books to read in 2015 ~ bringing up burns

These don't need to be done in any particular order
and I can either do them or not.

We can blog our progress or share on Instagram.

What about you?
Are you in?

my instagram week

Although I don't always have time to do a full blog post
most days I pop a photo on Instagram.

Instagram has grown into a friendly community
where most are encouraging and helpful.
There is no drama with leaving a comment
for others ~ you can just like someone's photo
if you wish or not.

It can often be a behind the scenes look at your
favourite creator's  design process
or see their home , their pets or family life.

This week I posted the pretty fabrics I was working with.

I shared some lovely fresh cherries,

I showed off my solar Christmas lights,

a lot of us put our bats out for Phillip Hughes
#putoutyourbats

and I posted a few photos around my town.
#riverina

Of course there was some more craft thrown in.

My photos are all taken on my little Galaxy phone
and it's not even a flash one.
I don't use fancy filters and I don't take photos
of the meals I'm having.
I'm sorry I just don't understand why people
need to show us everything they are eating.

So if you only have a dodgy little phone that takes
basic photos and very little time for much else
come and join me on Istagram it really is so much fun!
