My creative space smells very pretty this week .
I very rarely get to any markets but when I do
I try and support local makers and so I buy
handmade soap .
I put the soap away and throughout the year
I crochet some facewashers and
then package them together for
just in case gifts .
Just in case I forget a birthday or
need an extra teacher gift .
This time of year these just in case
gifts are very handy !
Wrapped simply in brown paper
with a paper doily and some coloured string
they do make a pretty gift , just in case !
Lots more creative spaces here .

That is a great idea. I do other things for just in case gifts, I might add that to the list.

This is great! And I just love how you use the paper doily. So very pretty.
How bizarre! that is exactly what our teachers get every year and would you believe ours are packaged the same way! Not surprising though as they are such a fab prezzie and everyone always loves them. Happy hooking.

That's a great idea - I never seem to be able to do gifts in advance and be that organised.

A really beaut idea, Clare.:-)
I also keep some nice candles, and a few sewing notions for emergency gifts.
My DH told a friend about some handmade oaps, I think they are made with goats milk and are very good for people with chronic skin problems like psoriasis.
A lovely idea - a New Year's resolution for me! how sensible to always have a thankyou gift in the cupboard ready and waiting for somebody.xxx

If they smell as good as they look I'm guessing they're amazing!xx

just looking at the soap I can smell it. Charmaine
This week's creative space is really awesome. The woolly wrappers are very finely weaved and need utter concentration. Thanks for this post.
