No you aren't seeing things this is a repost of my
fabric carrots from last year .
I lot of blogs have added my carrots to their listings
and included a link directly to me , thankyou !
Quite a few have taken my photos , words and
instructions without acknowledging me or
asking me , to you I'm poking my tongue out at .
For you my friendly , nice readers I am reposting
these so you can get some done in time for Easter .
Obviously I am a girl with far too much time on my hands , why else would I be making carrots for the Easter Bunny !
Anyway I thought maybe someone else would like to waste some time might like these .
This is my very first tutorial and as I must be a very visual type I have done this in picture form .
I hope it is clear enough for you and if you make carrots please let me know , I'd love to see them .
Using the measurements here (in inches 'cause I'm old ) make yourself a cardboard template .
Trace around scraps of doubled green and carroty colours . Stitch and trim .
Turn and stuff .
Turn under a small hem at the top and tack around .
Pull the thread to gather and secure 3 leaves by stitching through all layers .
Add a bit of ribbon or ric rac and ta da something that won't make the Easter Bunny fat !

Love the carrots Clare, wish they'd been in a little earlier, or that I had found them earlier, and I could have made them for my Grandchildren. Will have to wait for next year now. Oh and I must thank you for the very clear tutorial, and I love the material you picked for the carrots and the tops, I am rather partial to orange myself.

I rememer these from last year ut Iran out of time to actually make any. I shall try this weekend. I know how you feel aout having your work taken without so much as a thank you. Last August a Turkish blog ransacked just about all of my tutorials. In the end after a bit of investigating I managed to locatae an email to the main editor to leave my blog alone ro else. I then isabled that section of my blog for bit. So fat they have not taken anything else .
Lovely post and my daughter will have fun making theses too.
Thanks for the instructions. I am going to try and make some right away. I like the pictures. seems easier to me. Very cute carrots.

so cute. I like this kind of ideas
These are so clever and adorable! Well done! I'm definitely going to think up a purpose for these, possibly to pass out instead of treats to my son's preschool class. They get enough parent treats that day, so it might be nice to think outside the box rather than the same sugar everyone else will be bringing!
I saw you on Pinterest and it linked me right to your sight. These are darling ... now I just have to get busy.
Thanks for sharing! I just pinned these to my "crafty stuff" board on Pinterest, and plan to make some soon! Will definitely give you credit, should it end up on my blog, too! LOVE your blog... adding you to my Google reader!
These carrots are totally cute! My sister had them on her Pinterest board so I saw them there and had to check them out. Thanks for the tutorial!
