Hi Clare, theres no stopping your creative mind is there. Spray it white and add some GLiTTeR and theres your Christmas table decoration! Actually thats not a bad idea, might have a go at a few tomorrow! thanks for the inspiration!
Ha ha ha...love it...recycling and boredom busting at the same time...yep, a bit tinsel and you'll have the desk christmas tree that everyone else will wish they had!
If you get even more bored, glue on two arms with hands , a foam ball head, some hair, paint red all over, glue on a half paper doiley collar around the neck, glue on a christmas card so the hands are holding it - and there you have a Christmas Caroler!

Wow you must have been bored for a long time! It's very effective and very suitable for this time of year. Perhaps you could make a forest of them this week?
This brings back memories for me too. I remember making them with kids as a parent helper in a grade one class. The kids quickly became bored to I folded thousands of pages.
I've never seen this done before and if this is what you do when you're bored your creative mind must never rest :). Spray it with glitter, thread a string through the middle if you can and it would make a nice mobile to hang in the shop or the shop window. Lol, string some pom poms off the bottom 'branches' and it will look like it's dancing in the breeze.
Clare--That is so creative. What is your boring job.?It obviously gets the creative juices flowing. A tutorial perhaps?Lots of suggestions(very clever) from others about what to do with it.
can you sneak a sewing machine in your handbag?? Do you think they will notice you stitching away at work?? Just put a silencer on it. That should take care of the boredom love. Better still you can come and help me! YAY...:-)

The decoration done by you is quite attractive. Coming to your point, I think you should introduce some innovative efforts in your work to get rid of this boring work.

Boy, that's a blast from the past! I remember making those out of old Reader's Digests and painting them to use as Christmas tree table toppers!
Well that's better then throwing it in the bin. maybe you could take a stitchery.

In grade school we did one of those similar to what Quilary said but painted it gold, added a halo and made it into a Christmas angel.

Its obvious to get bored out doing a single work continuously. But try to bring some changes in your work. Its necessary.
A new slant on an old saying ..."bordeom behets creativity" :)
