not my finest hour

We lost power again the other night
so we had a barbie for tea .
I was having craft withdrawals
and was determined to craft something , anything !
Of course I think it is perfectly normal to boil up
old knitting needles on one burner as
the steak is cooking on the other hotplate .

My needle bangles were not as successful as I'd hoped
but sometimes crafters get really desperate !

WOW,worth thinking about a bit more. With a few beads on them might be a trend. Charmaine

Four or five of those on the arm would look quite good I think Clare...the good old barbie, what would we do without them...

I hope it satisfied your creative urge for the evening though?! Cherrie

T think they are quite cute. You'd have to be careful with the pointy end, unless you were hugging someone you didn't like.

What about threading some big chunky bells and ribbon or bow and hang them as Xmas decorations!Very creative by the way!

Don't give up, maybe the pointiness could be tamed.

I thought at first view you were trying out a new method of knitting in the round! Is there a way of affixing a bead to the pointy end so the end doesn't go all the way through?

Can you tell where my headspace is? I read that so quickly that I had visions of you all eating a BARBIE DOLL for tea because you couldn't find anything else! LOL. I've really got to stop looking in those toy catalogues!!!

How about napkin rings, for those cute knitting needle bangles? You're too funny sweetie!!! :-) Love your enthusiasm!!!!

Hugs darlin'!

You really thought outside the square when you came up with these bangles. What a clever idea!
