Yes I know more buttons . Really and truly this doesn't take long . The hardest part is choosing the buttons as I have to play with them not just use them .
Decide what size you want your decorations and cut two circles of medium weight cardboard .
Use a hot glue gun and glue the circles together with a looped piece of ribbon secured inside the two for hanging .
Play with your button collection for a while and then select the colours you would like .
Again using the hot glue gun glue buttons to your cardboard on both sides .
Fill in any small gaps with beads .
Make sure you use enough glue as everyone wants to touch them .
We made a few in different colours but they have mysteriously dissapeared .
I think I need to check my daughters purple room for the mauve one , really pretty .

yes I agree you are a creative little sweetie
These are so pretty and creative. I don't know if I could bear to put hot glue on any of my buttons though!
That looks really great!
Impressive and simple!
Hey Clare! This little bauble looks great, but I think I'm with Eileen and couldnt' bear to hot glue pretty buttons!! Looks like you're having lots of festive fun, though!! Bear Hugs! KRIS
What a super idea. I love to collect/buy buttons from thrift shops etc, but never seem to be able to use them all. I know what I'll be doing this weekend, & adding to my xmas tree.
Clever Girl, that looks gorgeous!
I love this - so simple yet I can tell it would have taken you ages to put those buttons in just the right place! I must try that with my stash!!
