the old hankies have a new life and a winner

Thanks to your suggestions and the lady from Vinnies

I now have bunting !

I've always wanted some pretty bunting so using up some
old hankies was the perfect opportunity to have a go
at making some .

I had to end up taking the photo inside as I picked
a very windy day to take photos outside but
they did look so pretty fluttering about
on my clothesline .

The winner of the Sew book by Cath Kidson was......
Ellieboo would you please email me with your details .

Thanks to all who entered come back soon
for a pattern giveaway !

Haha now I see you used that line on the original hanky post...maybe I am not so funny or maybe we both have a weird sense of humor.

Cutest ever bunting Clare.
I love the photo of the hankies drying in the wind with the hills in the background. In fact, I love Gundagai!! I have such fond childhood memories of your town and even now we always stop off at the Niagra Cafe on our way through to Melbourne. We must catch up next time I come through.
