my new home

Yes it's been a while but you are welcome to come
in and see my new home.
Although it is over 100 years old it is in great condition
and it is just perfect for me.

There are no new, modern doors in this house.

The crooked walls are the perfect place for
 displaying vintage pieces.

There are weird little nooks and ledges everywhere.

An orange tree is almost ready to be stripped of her fruit.

The kitchen is tiny but so very cozy.

The front gate welcomes me home with all its character.

It also appears that the cat is settling in too.

Love my new home and can't wait to show you more!

PS. I can't find my camera again so these are photos from my instagram
account. I will find my camera soon but in the meantime
follow along on instagram for more photos of my dream home.

PPS Thanks for sticking around I know it's been a long time
since I've posted here xxx

Thanks for sharing Clare, it looks very sweet....My Home is also an oldie but not quite as old as yours. It is 1920's double brick so hasn't quite hit the 100 mark yet, and it also has nice old doors bar a couple that I will replace with old ones eventually.....Enjoy your new home....Hugs Kate

Love your new home. I grew up in a that was over 100 year old when we got it. That was about 54 years ago. So I do love old homes. They have character. I hope you and your new home are happy with each other!

Despite the old age, it's good to know that the interiors and fixtures were all maintained, as well as that orange tree. Sure, there is a need for a little refurbishing here and there, but it looks beautiful nonetheless. Thanks for sharing with us and congrats!

Wow, what a lot of really old and character-granting features. I love these old fixtures and cracked concrete and other similar elements. Especially the way you have decided to frame your items and decorations with respect to the old house and the character that it is displaying. How did you acquire this wonderful new old home? Hope you don't have a 100 year mortgage to match!
