Just a little housekeeping .

That's right just a little housekeeping but I sure won't be getting my new dustpan dirty ! I need to put a label on it saying For Decorative Purpose Only . My kids are horrified I just want to hang it on a wall to look at , they are very good at eyerolling and mumbling strange mother by now !

Spots from Spotty

Living in a small country town I don't have the luxury of a fabric store , cruel I know , so I need to buy most of my fabric through mail order . I placed an order with Spotlight on Wednesday morning, received a very polite phone call from them in the afternoon letting me know what the price would be and received my spotty parcel on Friday morning .

After taking out the stuff I ordered that was unavailable all I was left with were spots !

It is spotty , dotty heaven here , I love them !

Farmhouse Envy

As some of you may know I'm doing a Visual Arts course through the local Tafe and the other day we decided to go on an excursion . We met at one of the ladies homes where a lovely morning tea was ready for us complete with all the fine china and I didn't want to leave , isn't it beautiful ? We took ourselves to another part of her property to sketch this gorgeous view .

It was a chilly day but we walked and laughed so much it didn't really matter .

Of course this is all I wanted to do when I got home but the cat wasn't moving from in front of the fire for anyone!
