don't worry , be happy

Do you remember a while back I made a curtain for my laundry ?

Everytime I go into the laundry I admire my pretty curtain .

So when the curtain that backs my glass bedroom door fell to pieces
I thought I would just make another hankie curtain .

With my hankie curtains I don't measure .
I don't pin .
I don't worry too much about any of it .

This new curtain makes me so happy too .

It doesn't take much .

How are things with you ?

What's making you happy ?

  1. That curtain makes me happy too! It's really wonderful and so pretty. :) I have several projects making me happy at the moment but today I'm working on a bag for myself - finally - something for me. :) Thank you for sharing your happy curtain. :)

  3. Your curtains are lovely and I do so love a project that is stress and hassle free, made from what you have on hand.
    Making me happy today is:

I finished a watercolour painting and it didn't take too long and doesn't look too bad.

I dyed 2 skeins of cotton and 1 skein of woollen yarn.

I have time left over at the end of the day to do some embroidery and watch a Craftsy class.

Wow, reading this back makes me realise what a great day it's been :)

  4. Great idea, Clare, and you're so fortunate to have so many vintage hankies with which to create.
