and so it goes on



 
I first blathered on about attempting string piecing in January 2010.
Not to be put off I blathered again that month about the same thing .
Being very persistent I bored you again here
 
 
Here we are in May 2013 and I am putting the blocks together .
No square is square.
No block is the same size.
I am still not a quilter .

  7. Your quilt is going to be beautiful when it's all sewn together! String quilts are my favourite quilts - scrappy no-worries colours and no-worries piecing - I make my blocks bigger than I want, then trim them down to size with the rotary cutter :D My stitching isn't all that accurate but I'm good at cutting things DOWN, lol!

  8. Great job Claire...keep at it, it is addictive. And just trim them all up with your ruler and rotary cutter so that they are all exact :)

  14. It looks wonderful Clare. Square those blocks up before you put it all together. String quilts are incredibly forgiving that way.
