Hi Clare, Can op shopping become addictive? When I get a great score like you did, I go and stand on the top of our roof and crow like mad!!!! No....er..um...no op shopping....not addictive!! lol. Love your treasures. Kind regards, Anita.
Love the cute Koala, Clare. :) I have one of the strainer plates, and the one to sit underneath, they belonged to my DGM. Lady at antique shop said they were for strawberries, but DM told me it was for lettuce leaves????
LOL...I think in the craft world it's a necessity as you never know what treasure of the past you might find. Your purchases are beautiful!! Keep up the good work :-) Cheers...Jane.
Hmm, I'll be down your way in a couple of months. We might have to go op-shopping together to feed our addiction. Hope there's nice buttons at your op-shop!
My family would say yes you can have too many tablecloths, lol - but what can you do when you find them at such a good price when thrifting! SOMEONE has to rescue them! I adore your little koala!
sure can Clare...I know!
ReplyDeleteI love old china too! I wonder what the plate with all the holes was used for?
ReplyDeleteThe little Koala on gum leaf is adorable.

ReplyDeleteOh that's a keeper, just beautiful. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteI love it - I really like the old cress dish (with the holes), I think they would be great to collect.
