Yes this is the last time I will bore you with my new blanket .
It is finished . It is done .
I absolutely love it !
I enjoyed not having to concentrate
(I'm good at that though )
I loved that while I was making it , it kept me warm at the same time .
It was so simple and soothing .
It looks damn good on the washing line too .
My internet has been slowed way , way down until next week .
So I may as well sit with my beautiful new blanket and start on something new .
It's absolutely gorgeous! I want to make one! Or shall I just buy one? Hee hee! Mind you, if I sat and did that in an evening I would have half a chance of sticking to a diet instead of biscuit munching!
ReplyDeleteWell done, job well done Hun! xxx

What a lovely and cheerful blanket. I have a feeling you may have inspired many people to get out their yarn and hook to make one for themselves.

ReplyDeleteMy mum still enjoys making these type of blankets and yes they are very warm too,
ReplyDeleteTake care
Is that a 3.5mm hook you've used with maybe an 8ply Clare? I've been using a 9mm with a thicker wool & love how it comes together quickly. Love the bright colours you've used.
ReplyDeleteJane.
