Yay ! A finish for August ! Although I'm not in the sewing machine cover challenge all those involved in it have inspired me to make my own . I really enjoyed making something just for me and using up scraps and not taking notes for a pattern as I went . I even added pockets on the side of the cover to try and get a little organisation going on in the Craftroom . I did say a little organised , I don't expect miracles !
I don't usually have the opportunity to buy matching fabrics as my nearest fabric store is Spotlight an hour away and when I do get there usually once a year it's a case of snatching a bundle of fabric and getting out of the store as quickly as possible .(After I've paid for them of course !) So recently I treated myself to this Micheal Miller fabric that coordinates ! I have a project in mind for this that hopefully I can show you soon .
Hey Clare! Your sewing machine cover looks FABULOUS!! I have to confess to having a naked sewing machine - there just always seems to be a huge list of OTHER things that need to be sewn. Maybe one day ...! And your new fabrics look great! I'm not a pink girl at all, but can cope with it when it's teamed with green - I particularly like the swirly pattern on the left - very funky! Can't wait to see what you've got planned for them! Bear Hugs! KRIS
Thanks Clare for your comment on my blog..I love the bunnies also. Your sewing machine cover looks great, you have done a fantastic job. This is something I have planned to do for a long time..maybe oneday I will have it done and be able to show everyone too.
Like the way you have dressed up your sewing machine - so pretty. That sure is cool fabric. Honestly can't imagine not being able to stop at a fabric shop on a regular basis. Enjoy creating with your new fabric.

Lovely machine cover. Mine could probably do with something to keep the dust off when it is sitting on my sewing table. Lovely blog too.
