reading and sewing and sewing and reading

For me 2014 was a pretty crap year.
There, I've said it.

I didn't get much reading done and I certainly
didn't get much sewing done
and these are two of my favourite things to do.

I have declared 2015 my  year and
I hope it's your year too.

I'm joining in the

When you see some of the prompts you'll see why.
They are all easy and achievable, even for me!

2015 sewing bucket list ~ whip stitch

26 books to read in 2015 ~ bringing up burns

These don't need to be done in any particular order
and I can either do them or not.

We can blog our progress or share on Instagram.

What about you?
Are you in?

  1. Sounds like a couple of good plans :) I'm thinking I'll print out the sewing one as a reference and suggestion style list, though I don't know that I'll commit as I'm already committing to using my stash this year, to focus on busting through my UFOs and a SAL, and that might be about the extent of my commitments since I don't yet know what this year will hold :) Have a great year ahead!! These are some great goals!!

  2. I hope 2015 really is your year. The sewing project list looks really do able. I used to read at least one book a week but now I hardly get through one in a couple of months. To start off this year I challenged myself to at least one book a month. Wishing you all the best with your challenges.

  4. I'm so with you on the reading challenge. I need it! The sewing bucket list is intriguing. I'm going to have to ponder that one for a bit... maybe incorporate some of it into my crafty life. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I joined the Sewing Bucket List after seeing it mentioned on your blog. Just posted about my donation baby quilt over at my blog THOUGHTS FROM MILL STREET http://thoughtsfrommillstreet.blogspot.com/2015/03/smiles-and-hoots-2015-sewing-bucket.html

Please stop by. I am calling the little pink quilt Smiles and Hoots.
