well hello Jack Frost !

This is what is  keeping me sane at the moment .

I drop my kids to their bus at about 6.45 each morning
and then I go walking .

I'm not a runner .

I hobble for 3kms on my shoddy knee .
Most mornings lately it has been freezing .

It clears my head .
It gives me thinking time.
It helps me feel stronger.

It is a beautiful way to start the day .

Very , very cold ....

but very , very beautiful .

  4. oooohhh looks so cold but i totally undestand why you love to walk in it...not that i would but i still get it! i feel sorry that your children have to be on a bus so early, we are so lucky living in the big smoke to be one street away from our school and the kids dont get out of bed until about 7:15.

  7. Looks really cold but crisp too, love the spider's web so intricate. We are currently in the low 30's C so a bit of a contrast.
