I'm all over the place at the moment .
Trying to make decisions .
Thinking about new directions.
School still has a week until it goes back so I have
been enjoying spending time with my teenagers .
I have enjoyed it and I'm not joking either !
I managed to finish a new pillowcase made from vintage sheets
with a cotton crochet trim , simple you would think .
I undid and redid the trim at least three times because I
wasn't happy with it .
Sometimes things are ok just the way they are .
How are things with you ?
Are you ok ?
Would you like a rest on my pillow?

ReplyDeleteYou did great. i'm actually doing the same thing. Except I'm a beginner, I just learned how to do it yesterday. I haven't made my pillowcase yet. I'm planning on making a matching quilt and pillowcase set for christmas. I wanted to practice some so I made myself a handkerchief. I've unpicked mine a thousand times. i can't seem to get it to work out the way its supposed to.

ReplyDeleteYou are about to go back to school and we have two weeks for the simmer holidays begin.
I am ok if a little worn out. Just to add to that last week I spent two days with two groups canoeing and kayaking!!
My sewing had taken a little bit of a back seat as my sketchbook has taken over more. I can fouc on it easier in the evenings. Pop over and take a look if you have 5 mins.
Love the fabric, I have never been lucky enough to find anything as nice at that vintage wise here at all.

ReplyDeleteLove the pillow case.... I have numerous Vinty pillowcases in my stash may have to trie and trim them.... one day lol. Definitely going on the to do list.
