adding value to your home

Beautiful views of green rolling paddocks .

Add a lot of rain .

We now have a water view .

The buses came into to town at lunchtime
yesterday to collect the kids from school
as the roads were flooding quickly .
There are hay bales being swept down the
creek that until just recently had been
bone dry for over ten years .

My son jumped on one of the buses yesterday
to be taken over the other side of town
before he was trapped on this side .
Excuse me Jack ,
YOU LIVE ON THIS SIDE !

  1. Hope you are all safe & dryish! Pouring here this morning but we are high & luckily have no problems. I was a little worried when a car with two canoes on top went past though! Hope Jack made it home.

  3. It's crazy weather every where Clare. The water views are impressive, just as long as they don't get too close to your house. Looking on the bright side, wet weather is perfect crafting weather!!

  5. Wouldn't it be nice if Atlas would just tip up Australia and pour some of that water to the West. you'd dry out a bit quicker and we'd fill up our bone dry dams
    Stay dry and safe.

  6. The weather all over the world has been really "off" this year. We hardly had any rain all summer and it got cold here two months earlier than it normally does! I hope that you are high enough that you don't have any problems with flooding of your home! And I hope Jack got back on the right side of town! :o) Take care and stay safe (and dry!)

  8. There's that saying about 'the grass is always greener' that could be applied to Jack's actions but I hope he ensured his path home was still available. A long time ago I couldn't get out of Adelong for a week. Luckily I'd just filled my cupboards with food. Stay dry and I hope all your cupboards are full of the necessities of life :).

  13. My parents had so much rain at their property that all the flood gates along the creek have been swept away and they now have to replace them .. big, painful job. Of drought and flooded plains ...
