Fingers and toes crossed....Summer tomorrow. Some of us are clapping our hands that we can use a sprinkler....you look like you don't have to just yet.
I hope everything else was high and dry and if this rain keeps up I'd be leaving any insurance money for the carpet in the bank and buy a nice pre loved one from an op shop and leave a new one until we have a 'proper' summer. At least our place only becomes an island occasionally :P.
I know that the creative people do find it impossible to maintain their workplace. Whatever it might be, I think that your work place is not that bad as you think.
