As some of you may know my dear mum has
just moved into a nursing home .
With her blessing her possesions were sorted
and lots of stuff was distributed amoungst the family .
I went to see my mum in her new place recently
and when I arrived home there was a parcel
waiting for me from my eldest sister .
In the parcel was the one and only wedding photo
of my parents , not a copy , the original .
There were also very old family photos and photos
of my dad when he joined the Army at 18 .
There were lots of documents and memorabilia .
I feel very honoured to be trusted
with all these special things .
All welcome to join in and show your treasures .

ReplyDeleteClare that is a very precious gift - it would be a good idea to scan them all and make digital copies, just in case, and you could even make copies for all the family members. Then they could print the ones they want. Your dad was a very handsome man!
