Now for the wondering ..... would you like to play a game ?
What is your most treasured thing ?
Besides your husband , children and sewing machine what is most important to you ?
Maybe it is a dried flower from your wedding bouquet or your childs first drawing .
It could be your Nanas doilies or your Mums handed down dinner set ,
your first quilt or a favourite book .
No I don't want to rob your houses I'm just curious what others find priceless .
If you are interested I will put a linky thingy here on
Tuesday the 1st July and we can call it
Treasure Tuesday or something daggy like that .
I'd be so happy if someone wants to play .
It will only be for that week because really how many priceless things do we have !
Leave a comment on this post if you think it may be worthwhile , if I don't hear from you I'll figure it's a really stupid idea and I'll just get back in my box .
Are you waiting to find out about the photo of the stapler ? Why is it there?
Just 'cause it's pink !
Love the pink staplegun. I think a sharing treasure game will be fun, count me in!
ReplyDeleteMy most priceless thing is a wooden frame my grandpa made for my paint by numbers I did when I was about 12 years old.
ReplyDeleteHe's been gone 30 years now and in all my houses I have lived in....its always place so its the first thing I see when I walk into the house:)
My kids were born on his wedding anniversary and his wife's (my beautiful Nanna's) birthday.
Thought I'd throw that on:D
Sounds like a great idea! My problem is I tend to be overly sentimental, and have so many things that are precious to me (most of which would be junk to anyone else!) - how do I choose just one?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Clare. I'm sure there will be plenty of people willing to join in.
ReplyDeleteHugs ~ Kerryanne
Congratulation to the winners!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good idea...only one though?
Love to play along, bring on the 1st!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners. When I think of my most treasured possession, I have to think of what I would miss the most should a natural disaster come and destroy our home...and the thing I would miss most is our photos (some in albums and some saved on the computer). I'd really be devastated if I lost them.....they are truly treasured by me.
ReplyDeleteHi Clare,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog... and leaving a comment. I've had fun browsing through some of your recent posts. Congratulations on reaching 200 posts. I think I'm headed towards 500... guess I'll have to do a giveaway.

What a fun idea! I think my most treasured thing (right now) would be two pictures on my dresser - one of my daughter at about 18 months of age, another of my granddaughter at about the same age. They look almost identical - my granddaughter couldn't even tell them apart!
ReplyDeleteLovely idea, count me in.

I think Treasure Tuesday's are a great idea! But only once? We all should be able to post several times about treasures we love. Why not make it a short series and see who all keeps up?
ReplyDeleteThank you... thank you... thank you...... see me jumping up and down? This is the first time ever I win a give away. I am so happy Clare!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure of my most cherished possession. Hmmm... I love the painting that my Mom did that's hanging near my kitchen sink. She doesn't like it but I do! I also love all my neat white birdcages that I have everywhere. They get a lot of comments from people who stop by!

Clare, I would love to be in - could do it for a number of Tuesdays! How's the cardigan, knitted by my grandmother while I was at uni, with wooden buttons turned by my late grandfather using timber off my parent's farm? Hear from you soon
