The trouble with going to meetings is ....

My hands get all fidgety and my mind wanders as I think of all the crafty stuff I could be doing instead of sitting in meetings . This week I knew I had a few to go to and thought I'd really go prepared .
One ball of crochet cotton and a hook and off I went .
I ended up at the end of the week with quite a few crochet flowers all in the one cotton because if I wanted anything fancier my pockets would really have bulged !
I stitched the buttons and flowers to the fabric and stretched it over a small canvas .
Wa la ! A little project done in my " spare " time !

Edited to add Michelle (crochet queen ) from The Royal Sisters kindly sent me the link to this post with lots of different crochet flowers , I hope this helps Crochet Flowers

  11. Very pretty result - great multi tasking.

You remind me of an old housemate who used to attend a lot of meetings for her work - She knitted lots of socks which she gave away as gifts.

  21. Clare, that's the best use of meeting time I've ever seen!!! Aside from sewing, and sometimes INSTEAD of sewing, my favorite thing to do is crochet flowers from cotton yarn. These are adorable and I love the finished project!!!!!!!
